O Mc-Palin Had A Farm
62O Mc-Palin Had A Farm
Sing A Long...
To the tune of "O MacDonald Had A Farm"
Before we sing a song, have you seen the news?
Evidently, Obama did the professional courtesy phone call, to ask McSame to get together with him, and make a joint statement on the current, shall we say, ecnomic war, I mean, woes. So, I think they agreed, but then McCain decides to "hoof" it to Washington DC instead where he smelled some glory-to-be-had for dinner, solo.
Isn't he a nice guy? Mr. "hey, that's a great idea, sure I'm your man,Man..." and when Obama hangs up... at warpspeed, McCain mounts his stud, suspends his campaign, and races off for the "hill." Mr. "Dudley-do-right," combined with "Jim Dandy to the rescue", McCain! Mr. "Country First, I mean MEEE first" presidential candidate. I never was good at math, but I think, if memory serves me right, McCain + Palin = ZERO.
I'm getting sick, let's sing, all together, now:
O Mc-Palin's In A State, EEE - I - EEE - I - O
And, In that state she had a Bridge,
With NoWhere for it to goooo
She took Credit - When Congress said No
We proved her wrong - but she hasn't let it go
O Mc-Palin's In A State, EEE - I - EEE - I - O
-------------------
And, in that state, there was a trooper
She Tried to let him goooo
She tried over here and she tried over there
She pushed her weight, but they weren't scared
O Mc-Palin's In A State, EEE - I - EEE - I - O
----------------
And, every time Palin Opens her mouth
The Truth goes out the door
She can't be believed - there is no doubt
She's a lot of things - but not a girl scout
O Mc-Palin's In A State, EEE - I - EEE - I - O
-------------------
And from that state, McCain took her out
The VP spot to give
If she gets in - it will be a fright
As she destroys - the Bill of Rights
Let's Keep Mc-Palin in her State, EEE - I - EEE - I - O
--------------

I figured last night when one of the commentators said why aren't they in Washington that they would both hoof it home.
I bet your husband can't wait to get home to you. You're a lot of fun.
I am warming up my vocal chords. Let's sing it again.
I am totally sickened by McCain and his grand standing by suspending his campaign to try and go and take credit for the work everyone else is doing. I loved what Obama said.
"American voters needed to hear the candidates' views "now more than ever."
And also that we can't just stop everything to deal with one issue. When you are President you may have many things confronting you. He also said that they both have big Jets that can get them to Mississippi very quickly.
Great hub!
It's not funny anymore is down right friggen scarey to me..I am afraid..and of course he thinks he's the big shot running to "the hill" eee I eee I ooooo
G-Ma :o) hugs
The sad thing is many people I talk to say they are voting for McCain because he is a Christian. I pointed out well Bill Clinton was in office the economy was good, and they keep say "he can't keep his pants zipped." so I have to tell them, well you know almost every president in the history of America has played around on the side, and if you do not think they have not then you are surely living in a cave. Also, I think it is un-Christian to judge someone personally, so who cares what Clinton did with Monica, I never cared about that. However, many people feel they have to vote Republican to perserve "family values," and I think I am going to scream if I hear this one more time. We should not be electing a president because of his religion or lack there of, but because of his ability to turn the economy around and make better foreign policy decisions. I see Obama as the person for the job and anyone who cannot see that is really not trying. Sorry to go on this rant, but I have heard so many people tell me they think McCain stands for good family values because he is a Rebublican, and I am sure he has a past just like everyone else.
Oh yes, here is the story that shows McCain does have a past:

I was trying to find it when I made my last comment.
Great hub! I didn't realize you were a songwriter too! You go girl!
Yes that was a despicable stunt McCain pulled yesterday. Then I see Orrin Hatch on TV explaining that the reason we are in this mess is because Bill Clinton wanted sell homes to minorities. What a distortion and a shameless nod to racisim at that. Nothing about McCain and Gramm introducing legislation in 1999 to repeal bank regulation, which everyone knows opened the door to the kind of shenanigans that are now threatening to tank Wall Street. So basically, after directly helping to cause this mess, McCain suddenly says, "Don't worry, I'll save you!" What an ass.
Good one, Marisue.
I suppose someone has to play the devil's advocate. It seems to me that there are so many articles written daily about Palin, that it is causing her to get the attention of the voters. It's all anyone hears about these days.
I believe articles like this one, even though it isn;t a flattering article about her, gets her a lot of PR that she couldn't get otherwise. I don;t mean to be the messenger of doom and gloom, and I may be wrong about this. I still have yet to decide who i will vote for.
Sweetiepie, that site sure gives a person a lot to think about. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Marisue,
I used to sing the original version of that song to my daughter, but your lyrics are a novel innovation!
I saw George on the news this morning and he looked about as shame-faced as he could muster, which wasn't very.
So McCain and Palin have galloped out of town. The writing must surely be on the wall now. After this debacle can there seriously be an educated person in the USA who would vote for them? Clinton may have been a bit creative with his cigars (lol), but at least he had his hand on the tiller.
Here a $Buck…there a $Buck….here a $Buck, $Buck, $Buck! EEE--I—EEE---I---OHHH!....OMG!
Fun stuff at the HubFarm!
I am a little scared right now with people telling me they think McCain would make a better president because he is a more moral person, but that is just not the case. As a student of history I say it would be wonderful if we had a president that was good morally, but most of them were not. It has been the gentlemen's club for years and it will probably continue to be that way in politics for some time. Even knowing people that work for local businesses I had friends that got jobs because they did things with their former bosses, got good references, and then have climbed the career ladder with ease. At first I used to be frustrated as I struggled through interviews and always got jobs on my own merit, but I realized over time not all people bonk the boss to get ahead. However, I am a little cynical and after reading so much about former presidents I would say we would be hard pressed to find many who did not cheat on their wives. Thankfully with the last few jobs I have had I have been surrounded by people who were actually hired for their qualifications and not because of what they did with the boss, or what they did with a former boss to get a good letter of reference. Honestly I do not care what people do with their personal lives whether they be a president or a pope, but I just wish people would stop claiming that Republicans have a claim on all morality and good behavior in America, when I think it is the opposite over the last eight years.
What has happened in Iraq is proof for sure. I like the song on your hub, very fun!
That would be good if they did :).
Muahahahahahaha. *Keeps singing* this is catchy :D
*sings all day long even as she accidentally walks into a pro-Palin classroom and ends up being ravaged by angry classmates*
ah..........h...hah......hel...p.......o..ma....cpalin...far.m.
I can't take much more of the election zoo. I think I'll just ignore it until election day, assuming there is one. I'll cast my vote for Obama, what other choice is there, and hope for the best.
It's good to find something in this mess to laugh about but, sometimes, while I'm laughing I find myself wondering if I'm really whistling past the graveyard.
Good one - and on that farm there was a p*g with l*pst*ck...

Fun stuff Marisue! There's very little to laugh about under the present circumstances. Thanks for helping us out.
